Job summary

Avetics Global in Singapore is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our R&D team. You will design and develop control systems for our drone products and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science or Robotics, 3+ years in robotics, and strong C/C++ and Python skills. Knowledge of Kalman filtering, PID, ROS, OpenCV, Git, and Linux is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Robotics or related field; 3+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Python; familiar with Git and Bash.
• Knowledge of advanced robotics control and filtering (Kalman filtering and PID).
• Creative thinker with good analytical abilities and strong problem-solving.
• Clean, readable, modular coding practices; excellent teamwork and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotics systems that interact with drones/UAV.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Gather and analyze users’ requirements and translate them into design specs.
• Respond to robotics system-related issues and provide technical support.
• Conduct testing for implemented algorithms; keep R&D equipment up-to-date.
• Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and integrate into units.
• Draft new project proposals and present them to management.
• Provide technical support to customers as needed.
