Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is hiring an Assistant Robotics Engineer/Robotics Engineer to develop and implement ROS-based robotics solutions for SCS and NSC. You will manage the deployment lifecycle from software development to hardware calibration and monitoring, working with partners.

This role offers growth from hands-on deployment to core robotics software, supporting centre events and cross-disciplinary initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required.
• Proficient in C++, Python and ROS2.
• Comfort with firmware development, Linux and hardware integration.
• Willingness to work hands-on with robotic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ROS-based robotics solutions for visitor experiences and operations.
• Cover deployment lifecycle from perception/navigation to calibration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate hardware/software and ensure reliability.
• Assist with education programs and live events requiring robotics setups.
