Job summary

Science Centre Singapore seeks an Assistant Robotics Engineer/Robotics Engineer to develop and implement ROS-based robotics solutions for visitor experiences and operational efficiency. You will work from core software development to hands-on hardware deployment with a cross-discipline team.

The role requires a diploma in Engineering and skills in C++, Python, ROS2, and Linux, with hands-on experience with LiDARs and IMUs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Proficient in C++, Python and ROS2.
• Comfortable developing firmware and software, navigating Linux, and hardware like LiDAR/IMUs.
• Interest in robotics/AI development with willingness to grow full-stack skills.
• GitHub portfolio or similar demonstrating work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ROS-based robotics solutions across deployment lifecycle.
• Calibrate and test robotic systems in live environments with partners.
• Assist with Centre-wide events and duties as required.
