Job summary

YYForce is seeking a Robotics Engineer, Navigation to enable our humanoid and service robots to move safely and autonomously in real-world environments. You will develop and integrate mapping, localization, path planning and obstacle avoidance on physical robots.

You will collaborate with perception, manipulation and system engineers to ensure robust end-to-end navigation in dynamic hospitality settings. Prior hands-on deployment and ROS 2 Nav2 experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, EE or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Good understanding of SLAM, localization, path planning and obstacle avoidance.
• Experience developing, integrating or testing software for mobile robotic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug navigation issues across software, sensors and robot hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate SLAM, mapping, localization and autonomous-navigation capabilities.
• Select and integrate navigation sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs).
• Configure and adapt global/local path planning and obstacle avoidance.
• Integrate navigation with perception, manipulation and task-execution systems.
• Test and improve navigation reliability on robots in dynamic indoor environments.
• Support site mapping, system commissioning and deployment troubleshooting.
