Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble complex modules and systems, including device enclosures and panels, using programmed robotics systems in line with customer specifications. The role includes basic testing and calibration of finished products.

The technician will work with assemblies ranging from large components to small parts, perform robot installation and teaching, and ensure finished products meet rigorous specifications via

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higer NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision or Industrial Engineering).
• At least 1 year of experience as a mechanical/electrical assembly technician in manufacturing assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly for mechanical components according to WI/OMS including working with various sized materials, robots installation and teaching, alignment.
• Ensure the product is accurate with specifications delivered to customers through Vacuum Leak Checks.
• Monitor individual work efficiency to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and delivery performance in production.
• Feedback on continual improvement in production in terms of KPI set.
• To ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery are worked out according to KPI.
