Job summary

HATCH ASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced logistics manager to oversee operational planning, fleet optimization, and performance delivery. You will manage a mix of own fleet and contract transport, preparing timely data reports and ensuring invoicing accuracy.

The role requires strong negotiation and sales skills, minimum 5 years of management experience, and knowledge of supply chain and international logistics. Prior exposure to road freight and compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience required.
• Familiar with the principles and practice of supply chain management.
• Working knowledge of customs clearance, trade compliance, international transportation and logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform effective operational planning and deliveries using own fleet, contract transport and manpower.
• Prepare and deliver internal and external data reporting timely and accurately.
• Ensure all operational requirements and defined performance standards are met, maintaining customer satisfaction to the highest level.
• Ensure timely, accurate invoicing to customers and agents; minimize disputes and variances.
• Forecast weekly revenue and formulate yearly budgets; control overheads to maximize operating profit.

Job description

• Perform effective operational planning and deliveries involving optimum use of own fleet, contract transport companies and manpower.
• Preparation and delivery of internal and external data reporting timely and accurately.
• Ensure all operational requirements are met, and defined performance standard and customer satisfaction is maintained to the highest level.
• Ensure all statutory requirements are met, defined performance standard and satisfaction is maintained to the highest level.
• Ensure timely, accurate invoicing to both customers and agents. Minimizing disputes, clearing outlay variances.
• Ensure the service job files are closed on time and in a manner adequate to reflect the actual financial performance.
• Advancing sales growth within existing revenue streams, and acquiring new business to increase revenue of road freight division.
• Support sales development efforts of other branches and agents by creating and preparing road freight presentations / blueprinAttending to Road Freight and GRN related RFQ / Quotation.
• Sourcing and negotiating rate and service contract with vendors and agents contract haulers.
• Control overheads to maximize operating profit, meet budgeted P&L targets whilst maximizing financial results.Forecasting weekly revenue and formulate yearly budgets.
• Ensure regulatory complianceDevelop, review, maintain & implement of ISO Procedure of Road Freight Division.
• Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Degree Holder preferably in Logistic
• Minimum 5 years management experience
• Familiar with the principles and practise of supply chain management.
• Working knowledge of customs clearance, trade compliance, international transportation and logistics preferred.
