Job summary

NBCUniversal is looking for a Ride/Show Engineer to sustain and improve ride and show systems, including electrical, controls, and mechanical facets. You will troubleshoot, test, and upgrade systems while adhering to universal specifications and safety standards.

On-call rotations and collaboration with operations, safety, and vendors are integral. A technical degree and experience with ride technologies are required; advanced degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field is required.
• 1+ year experience in theme park technical/engineering roles.
• Experience with ride systems or complex integrated systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustaining engineering support for ride and show systems.
• Troubleshoot, analyze faults, and support modifications and testing.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for technical support.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and Universal specifications.
• Support budget and schedule oversight for attractions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, safety, and vendors.
