Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
0-1 years experience in direct theme park technical/engineering roles.
Experience with ride/show control equipment (ladder logic, VFDs, motion control) preferred.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Contributes to technical management, including budget and schedule for attractions.
Supports specification, bid/award, design, production, installation and testing of ride/show systems.
Provides engineering support: calculations, design, drafting and research.
Reviews vendor design documents and updates ride/show specifications.
Assists in managing vendors from bidding to commissioning.
Develops and executes test protocols and plans.
Witnesses or approves testing and test results.
