Job summary

Clarks Singapore is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to demonstrate products, engage shoppers, and meet personal sales targets.

You will handle up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, replenish shelves, maintain visual merchandising, and provide excellent service to customers and vendors.

Fluency in English is essential, Mandarin would be a plus. Proficiency with basic MS Office and POS/cashier systems is preferred. Punctuality, grooming, and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; Mandarin a plus.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations preferred.
• Able to engage customers and upsell products.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and explain products to persuade customers to purchase.
• Identify interested customers and provide brand/product information.
• Promote promotions and incentives to educate customers to buy.
• Deliver sales targets and perform upsell/cross-sell when opportunities arise.
• Maintain records of sales via the POS system.
• Replenish shelves and ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines.
• Provide excellent service to customers and vendors.
• Perform stock checks and maintain store cleanliness.
• Observe punctuality and proper grooming, ensure store security.
• Address customer feedback/complaints and elevate when necessary.
