Job summary

CheeseDotCom is seeking a friendly Retail Staffmember to join our team. You will assist customers with cheese, wine and gourmet products, handle POS transactions, and support daily shop operations in a busy retail setting.

Previously, you will gain training on store processes, inventory, and promotions. A Food Hygiene certificate is preferred, with weekends and public holidays rosters required. Enjoy staff discounts and opportunities to learn about artisanal products.

Qualifications

• Training provided for candidates with no prior experience.
• Must have completed a Food Hygiene course.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable handling cash/POS and basic stock management.

Responsibilities

• Shop Operations: open/close store, keep areas clean, display products.
• Sales & Customer Service: assist customers, process payments, manage website/grab orders coordination.
• Stock & Product Management: prepare/label cheese, monitor stock, conduct stock counts, check deliveries.

Offer: S$2,100 - S$2,500

Working Schedule

• 5working days per week based on a roster
• Weekdays: 11am – 8pm
• Saturday: 10am – 8pm
• Sunday: 10am – 7pm
• Entitled to 2 weekends off per month based on the work roster

Job Responsibilities

1. Shop Operations

• Support daily shop operations including opening and closing.
• Ensure the shop and storage areas are clean, organized and customer-ready with all cheese, wine and other products properly stored and displayed.
• Support in-store promotions, events and other marketing activities.

2. Sales & Customer Service

• Assist walk-in customers with cheese, wine and product recommendations.
• Handle POS, cashiering, payments and daily sales transactions.
• Assist in preparation and collection/delivery coordination for website / grab orders.

3. Stock & Product Management

• Prepare, cut, wrap and label cheese accurately.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, product displays and storage conditions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock replenishment.
• Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.

Requirements
