Job summary

TAKA Jewellery Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Retail Executive to deliver professional, welcoming service, support sales, manage store operations, and assist with product presentation and administrative tasks.

The role focuses on advising customers, maintaining store standards, stock handling, and assisting with promotions and events to boost sales and brand presence at the outlet.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher with retail knowledge or experience.
• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Retail considered.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and professional customer service throughout the jewellery shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction
• Welcome customers and assist them in selecting jewellery pieces tailored to their needs and preferences
• Share detailed product knowledge and provide appropriate recommendations to support customer decisions
• Handle basic after-sales enquiries and respond to simple repair-related questions to maintain customer trust
• Support sales activities and contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships, providing timely follow-up when needed
• Assist with daily retail operations including stock handling, product replenishment, and arrangement to ensure smooth store functioning
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation to uphold brand standards
• Follow standard store procedures including opening and closing duties to ensure operational compliance
• Support stock-taking and inventory management activities to maintain accurate stock records
• Handle jewellery products and displays carefully according to company procedures to preserve product quality
• Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays following company and brand visual merchandising guidelines
• Support basic visual merchandising tasks to enhance product presentation and improve customer experience
• Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system to ensure smooth sales operations
• Assist with customer data entry and basic administrative tasks to support store management
• Support in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and events as required to boost sales and brand presence
• Collaborate with the retail team to perform other duties necessary for the smooth operation of the outlet

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline; candidates with Nitec or Higher Nitec in Retail will also be considered
• Willing to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays as per outlet roster and operational needs
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while performing customer service duties.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude
• Comfortable interacting with customers and providing product recommendations
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is an advantage
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
