Job summary

BEST DENKI (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Retail Cashier to uphold high customer service standards while processing sales transactions accurately and safeguarding assets in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will operate POS equipment, assist customers, maintain a clean cashier area, and support promotions including Best Denki memberships. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work full shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Point-of-Sales (POS) equipment to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers and addressing their needs promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier counter and surrounding store areas
• Manage inventory of cashier supplies such as plastic bags, PAID stickers, NETS paper, audit rolls, and credit card machine materials
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming
• Promote and encourage customers to sign up for Best Denki membership via the mobile app
• Assist in sales of products and extended warranty offerings
• Safeguard company assets by following cash handling and security procedures set by the company
• Adapt to rotating shifts including full shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Communicate effectively in Basic English to support customer interactions and work well with the team

Job Summary

Salary and Allowances

• Basic salary: $2,100 (Locals) / $1,700 (Non-Locals)
• Public Holiday Allowance: $100
• Attendance Allowance (After Confirmation): $60

Work Arrangements

• 6 off days per month
• Minimum 6 full shifts per month
• 5-6-5-6 work schedule cycle (work 6 days every alternate week)

Work Shifts

• Morning: 9:30am to 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
• Afternoon: 2:00pm to 10:00pm (1-hour dinner break)
• Full Shift: 9:30am to 10:00pm (1.5 hours meal breaks

Probation Period

3 months
