Job summary

LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at Changi Airport. You will utilize upselling techniques to exceed sales targets, stay updated on products and promotions, and make recommendations to customers to drive sales.

You will maintain stock per merchandising guidelines, perform daily housekeeping for safety, process transactions via POS, and represent the brand as the front-line ambassador.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O Level or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work rotating shifts at Changi Airport.
• Commitment to 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Proactively upsell to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Stay informed on new products and promotions and recommend them to customers to drive sales.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked per visual merchandising guidelines.
• Perform daily housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Process sales transactions and handle payments accurately via POS system.
• Stay informed of and adhere to duty-free allowances and regulations.
• Be the front-line ambassador to uphold the company branding and image.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

• Proactive to utilize upselling techniques to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Demonstrate initiative by staying informed on new products and promotions to make recommendations to customers and drive sales
• Ensure all shelves are well-stocked while adhering to the visual merchandising guidelines
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and safety of work environment
• Process sales transactions and handle cash, credit and all other forms of payments accurately and efficiently using POS (Point-Of-Sales) System
• Stay informed and adhere to duty-free allowances, age restrictions, and other relevant regulations
• Be the company’s front-line ambassador to uphold company’s branding and image
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Minimum education qualification: GCE 'N' or 'O' Level.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• A professional appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
