Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a retail associate for our Punggol outlet to welcome and assist customers, including children and parents, in a friendly and professional manner. You will help with daily store operations and provide a positive experience during visits.

The role emphasizes patient communication, teamwork, and responsive service in a lively retail setting, with six working days per week and occasional weekends/public holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with or interacting with children is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet.
• Welcome and attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide assistance to customers and respond to their enquiries and requests.
• Interact with children and parents throughout their visit and provide a positive customer experience.
• Communicate with children in a patient, friendly and approachable manner.
• Provide guidance and assistance to customers where necessary.
• Handle customer requests and feedback professionally and escalate matters to the supervisor when required.
• Support the team in ensuring smooth daily operations and a good overall customer experience.
• Assist with activities, events, promotions or other operational tasks when required.
• Work closely with team members to support daily operations and customer service.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Prior experience working with or interacting with children is highly preferred
• Candidates from Preschool, Childcare, Tuition, Enrichment Centre, Kids Playground, Indoor Playground or Kids Events backgrounds are welcome
• Candidates with experience at Kiztopia, Kidztopia or similar children-related environments will have an added advantage
• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory
• Patient, friendly and comfortable interacting with children
• Able to communicate effectively with both children and parents
• Positive, approachable and service-oriented personality
• Able to remain calm and patient when handling children or busy customer situations
• Comfortable working in a lively, customer-facing environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays where required
