Job summary

ANISHA SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager in Singapore to support the Store Manager in daily operations and staff supervision on the sales floor.

You will act as second-in-command, drive excellent customer service, and help meet sales targets through strong team leadership. Responsibilities include overseeing opening/closing, supervising associates, and ensuring compliance with policies and cash handling rules.

RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER

Retail Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service, acting as the second-in-command on the sales floor.

Core Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, manage the sales floor, and step in to run the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Team Management: Supervise retail associates, adjust shift schedules for optimal efficiency, and assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Customer Service: Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Sales & Performance: Track monthly sales targets, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and motivate the team to meet or exceed goals.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Maintain visual merchandising standards, handle stock replenishment, monitor inventory movement, and assist with loss prevention.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, cash-handling rules, and local regulations
