Job summary

You will greet customers, assist with product inquiries, handle POS transactions, stock management, and ensure displays meet visual standards. Weekend and peak periods availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail sales or customer service (entry-level welcome).
• Willingness to work flexible shift hours including weekends and public holidays.
• High punctuality and readiness to cover last-minute shifts.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.
• Sales Execution: Actively promote products, current promotions, and cross-sell/up-sell items to achieve daily sales targets.
• Cashiering: Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, cash handling, card processing, and issuing receipts accurately.
• Stock Management: Assist with stock receiving, unpacking, price tagging, shelf replenishment, and inventory counts.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain store cleanliness, ensure displays are well-stocked and neatly arranged according to visual standards.
• Operational Flexibility: Step up to provide last-minute floor or cashiering coverage during staff shortages or unexpected crowd surges.

Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic, customer-oriented, and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, delivering excellent customer service, driving retail sales, and assisting with daily floor operations. You will also provide vital operational support during peak traffic periods, weekend shifts, and off-site events or roadshows (if required)

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Sales & Customer Service

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

• Sales Execution: Actively promote products, current promotions, and cross-sell/up-sell items to achieve daily sales targets.
