Job summary

Phoon Huat Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to greet shoppers, assist with inquiries, promote products and support order fulfilment at the counter.

You will replenish shelves, tag prices, handle cashiering and exchanges, maintain displays and uphold a clean, hygienic store environment. Training is provided; candidate should read English and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but training provided.
• Minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' level.
• Good team player and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and friendly disposition.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read and understand English.
• IT literacy is an added advantage.
• Able to carry load 10kg and above.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and respond to shopping enquiries.
• Promote products and assist with order fulfilment.
• Replenish and arrange merchandise per SOP.
• Perform price tagging and cashiering including exchanges and refunds.
• Create and maintain retail outlet displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Open/close shifts and balance cashier.
• Participate in stock-take.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver customer service excellence by greeting walk-in customers, attending to their shopping enquiries, promoting products to them and assisting with the order fulfilment processes.
• Replenish and arrange merchandise according to Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform out-of-stock, quality, and expiry checks.
• Perform price tagging and ensure accuracy.
• Perform cashiering duties including customer exchanges and refunds and promoting customer loyalty programme during the checkout process.
• Create and maintain retail outlet displays.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure and maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene.
• Assist in retail outlet opening and closing including participating in the cashier balancing process.
• Participate in stock-take.

Requirements :
