Job summary

HOJUN INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Retail Assistant to support daily store operations and help customers discover our premium nuts and dried fruits.

You will greet shoppers, recommend products, handle transactions, manage stock, and maintain cleanliness and safety on the shop floor.

The role requires physical capability to lift about 10 kg, willingness to learn digital logs, and a 4-day work week from 10:00 to 22:00 with a Singaporean or valid work pass.

Responsibilities

Retail Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring our retail space operates smoothly while helping customers discover our premium selection of nuts and dried fruits.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, offer product recommendations, and answer inquiries about our selection of products.

• Sales & Transactions: Handle daily point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Stock & Store Maintenance: Receive and organize stock, replenish shelves, and maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards across the retail floor.

• Physical Logistics: Safely lift and move bulk cartons of nuts and dried fruits during stock receiving and inventory replenishment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail is preferred but not required.

• Friendly, approachable demeanour with strong communication skills.

• Physically capable of lifting and moving about 10kg carton boxes.

• Must be comfortable learning internal digital task logs and tracking systems from scratch.

• Must be a Singaporean, PR, or possess the relevant valid work passes.

Schedule & Compensation

• Work Schedule: 4-day work week with 3 rest days.

• Shift Timings: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (includes a lunch break).

• Salary: $2,000 to $2,600 per month.
