Job summary

Qualifications

• Greet guests with a cheerful, helpful manner.
• Explain menu items accurately to guests.
• Handle orders using the POS system and process payments.
• Follow Cash-In procedures and manage cash during shifts.
• Prepare sandwiches neatly and timely according to formulas.
• Restock sandwich unit items to ensure availability during shifts.
• Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean restaurant area and follow wash/rinse/sanitize methods.
• Follow Subway Operations Manual daily procedures and grooming standards.
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Complete University of Subway courses as directed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take their orders with a cheerful, helpful attitude.
• Explain menu items accurately and assist guests in their selections.
• Record orders at the POS and collect payment, giving correct change.
• Perform cash handling procedures during the shift.
• Prepare food neatly and promptly according to the established formulas.
• Check and restock items in the sandwich unit area as needed.
• Maintain adherence to food safety and sanitation standards during service.
• Clean and maintain all restaurant areas to promote a clean image.
• Follow daily procedures and grooming standards as outlined in the manual.
• Complete light administrative tasks as assigned.
