Job summary

OUE Restaurants Pte Ltd is seeking a guest-focused restaurant service team member in Singapore to welcome guests, maintain a clean dining area, and support seamless service across kitchen and bar as needed.

You will handle orders, provide informed menu recommendations, and collaborate with the staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Friendly, polite guest interaction skills.

• Basic knowledge of menu offerings to provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming the guests as they come into the restaurant in a positive, polite and professional manner.
• Clean all tables after the guests have left and get such tables prepared for the next set of guests.
• Serve and pack warm foods to the guests in an effective manner and in strict accordance with the orders of such guests.
• Assist kitchen and bar staff whenever such assistance is required.
• Familiarize and maintain the chart of all available deals and products periodically and refresh such chart on daily basis.
• Be equipped with the necessary knowledge of the menu offerings to provide suitable recommendations and cater to guest’s needs and requirements.
• Handle minor guest feedback or concerns professionally and escape more complex issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Report and manage any accidents or incidents promptly in consultation with the Manager.
• Maintain and ensure the dining area is clean and organized at all times.
• Ensure appropriate personal, workplace hygiene and sanitation procedures are in place and met.
• Any other duties assigned by the management.
• Enjoys interacting with guests, with a passion for service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays.
