Job summary

NEW SYED CAFE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated restaurant supervisor to lead waitstaff, manage reservations, and ensure top-notch guest experiences.

You will coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service, while maintaining hygiene and quality standards throughout the dining area. The role requires at least 2 years as a waiter with supervisory exposure, strong communication, and leadership abilities, and a passion for fast-paced hospitality.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or F&B training is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a waiter, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, service standards, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Guest Experience: Welcome and seat guests promptly, manage reservations, monitor satisfaction, address issues and requests, and provide menu recommendations.
• Supervision of Staff: Lead and train waitstaff, assign duties, ensure grooming and professional behavior.
• Order Management & Service: Ensure timely service, coordinate with kitchen for special requests, manage table settings and presentation, optimise turnover.
• Quality Control: Maintain hygiene standards, ensure accuracy of dishes, address guest feedback for improvement.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with kitchen and bar, report issues to Restaurant Manager, coordinate with other departments for events.
• Inventory and Maintenance: Monitor stock of condiments, linens, and tableware; report maintenance issues and shortages.
