Job summary

nand o's chickenland singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and plan for future growth. You will lead the team on shift, support recruitment and training, and ensure the Nando's experience is delivered with passion and consistency.

You will manage labour, inventory, and safety, drive sales, and contribute to local marketing and business planning while upholding Nando’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hospitality, retail or leisure environments.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop restaurant teams.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the restaurant team to deliver the Nando’s experience.
• Support attraction, recruitment and training of Nandocas.
• Support growth and development of Nandocas through training and quality conversations.
• Develop labour schedules to deliver the Nando’s experience.
• Manage inventory and order stocks to ensure products are available.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe and representative of the Nando’s brand.
• Ensure procedures are followed to be safe, legal and compliant with standards.
• Grow sales by running shifts that create positive customer moments and efficiency.
• Understand full P&L and deliver financial targets including costs and sales.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reporting and forecasts.
• Work on business planning, from strategic to daily forecasting.
• Develop and support local restaurant marketing.
• Implement restaurant administration, stock control, security and safety.

Job description

Restaurant Manager contributes to every aspect of the day-to-day running of the restaurant as well as planning for its future success. You will support the team on shift and behind the scenes, helping them to create fantastic moments and feelings for our customers.

You will have the capabilities and passion to step-in to take on the responsibilities as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

People

• Lead, develop and motivate the restaurant team to deliver the Nando’s experience
• Support the attraction, recruitment and training of Nandocas (that’s what we call anyone that works at Nando’s)
• Support the growth and development of Nandocas through training and quality conversations
• Recognize success and ensure everyone is well informed and heard by using the appropriate communication channels
• Develop labour schedules that enable the team to deliver the Nando’s experience
• Support the development and training of Assistant Managers in the restaurant and the region

Product

• Support the team to deliver amazing food, freshly cooked to order and served hot
• Manage inventory and order stocks to ensure all products are available

Place

• Keep the restaurant beautiful, safe, clean and representative of the Nando’s brand
• Carry out, monitor and correct procedures in order to be safe, legal and follow the Nando’s standards

Performance

• Grow sales by running shifts in a way that creates positive customer moments and delivers operational efficiency
• Understand the full P&L of the restaurant, and take responsibility delivering the restaurants financial targets including sales and all controllable costs
• Review and ensure timely, accurate and complete daily / weekly / monthly reporting
• Work on business planning, from strategic planning to daily forecasting
• Develop and support local restaurant marketing
• Implement effective restaurant administration, stock control, security and safety
