Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd is assisting a well-established Japanese restaurant chain to launch its first outlet in Singapore. We are assembling a founding team to drive store operations, guest experience, and business performance from day one.

You will lead daily operations, recruit and train staff, manage inventory and costs, ensure food safety, and support expansion plans as the business grows with the market.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations preferred.
• Proven track record in managing teams and achieving KPIs.
• Knowledge of inventory control and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
• Support new outlet openings, including pre-opening preparations.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and operational KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and prepare management reports.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Manage staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Foster a positive team culture and support employee development.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and cost control to minimize wastage and improve profitability.

Food Safety & Quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct regular operational and hygiene inspections.

Business Expansion

• Support new store openings and multi-outlet operations.
• Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and business performance.
