Job summary

Boys' Town in Singapore is seeking a Residential Services Social Worker to provide case management, counselling, and therapeutic interventions for residents under its care. You will collaborate with families, schools, government agencies and multidisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation and reintegration.

You will manage intake, develop Individualised Care Plans, conduct group programmes, maintain documentation, and uphold safeguarding and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work recognised by SASW.
• Experience in child protection, residential care, youth work, counselling, or case management is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, assessment, report-writing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residents under various orders and referrals.
• Conduct intake, assessment, case planning and review processes.
• Develop and implement Individualised Care Plans addressing developmental and family needs.
• Provide individual and family counselling and therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group programmes.
• Maintain timely case documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with Residential Services staff and external stakeholders.
• Represent residents at case conferences and meetings.
• Support programme development and safeguarding standards.
