Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Interior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle — from design development and client coordination to site execution and project completion.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to the agreed design, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in interior design and renovation for landed residential properties.
• Well versed in interior design drawings and technical details.
• Able to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Good understanding of design, costing, and site execution.
• Able to balance creative design ideas with practical project and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage interior design concepts, planning, and project execution based on client requirements, budget, and project timeline.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into creative, practical, and cost-effective design solutions.
• Review and coordinate design details, drawings, and specifications to ensure works are carried out according to project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed according to the agreed scope, pricing, quality standards, and schedule.
• Monitor project costs and ensure all design, subcontractor, and supplier works remain within the approved project budget.
• Follow up on project progress, outstanding works, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Handle project-related correspondence and respond promptly to emails, requests, and enquiries from clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare clear and professional emails, requests, reports, and project updates while keeping your superior informed of key developments.
• Identify potential project issues and work closely with relevant parties to resolve them.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your superior.
