Job summary

TRACE DESIGN + BUILD PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced interior designer to partner with our architectural team, translate client brief into compelling concepts, and develop space planning, 2D layouts, and high-quality 3D visuals.

You will curate materials, guide clients through approvals, and coordinate with on-site professionals to ensure builds match approved designs, while preparing documentation and procurement specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–3 years of local Singapore experience in interior design or architecture.
• Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D rendering tools.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore renovation materials and local building standards.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Able to coordinate with on-site teams to ensure design integrity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the architectural team to conduct client consultations and understand requirements.
• Develop interior concepts, space planning, 2D layouts, and 3D visualisations.
• Curate materials and guide clients toward final approvals.
• Coordinate with site PMs, contractors, and suppliers to match builds to designs.
• Prepare design packages, joinery details, and procurement specs.
• Manage project milestones and keep clients updated on progress.
