Job summary

QINGJIAN REALTY (SOUTH PACIFIC) GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead a on-site team of technical supervisors, ensuring all works meet regulatory and client requirements.

You will work closely with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design, and supervision leadership, guaranteeing timely project completion while upholding safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in C&S Engineering from a PE Board-accredited university.
• Accredited Resident Engineer with BCA / IES / ACES.
• Min. 5 years' site experience in Singapore.
• Experience in high-rise residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of BCA requirements and construction regulations.
• Conversant with industry building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical supervisors on site to meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Collaborate with Professional Engineers, regulators and contractors for planning, design and supervision leadership.
• Oversee structural works and identify non-conformities on site.
• Ensure site compliance with MOM health and safety regulations.
• Attend site progress meetings and maintain documentation for ongoing works.
• Maintain site records such as safety records, as-built submissions, and inspection records.

Job description

Responsibilities：

• Managing a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements
• Work closely with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects
• Carry out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site
• Understanding of industry legislation / requirements especially to comply with BCA's criteria
• Implement the site supervision quality and safety assurance system
• To carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety in accordance with MOM regulation
• Attend site progress meetings with the project team
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, and safety record, as built submissions, inspection record etc., are well managed.

Requirements：

• Degree in C&S Engineering from a University accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer with BCA / IES / ACES
• Min. 5 years' site working experience in Singapore
• Experience in high-rise residential projects
• Strong knowledge of C&S details, working drawings, shop drawings and C&S construction method
• Strong knowledge of BCA requirements and regulation for construction works on site
• Conversant with industry building codes and regulations
• Good supervisory and leadership skills
