Job summary

PERTAPIS Centre for Women and Girls seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily home operations, ensuring SOC/SOP compliance and high service standards. You will lead the Residential Care Unit team, oversee staffing, training, and performance reviews while coordinating with HQ on governance and donor partnerships.

The role covers developing procedures, risk mitigation, and timely reporting to ministries and agencies.

Qualifications

Min. diploma / degree in operations management or similar.
Min. 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in social service sector.
Able to perform morning and afternoon shift duties.
Knowledge of basic IT (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Good interpersonal and communication (Oral and written) skill.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head in managing the Home’s operations in line with SOC, SOP, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and improve operational processes and procedures.
Supervise RCU staff, conduct interviews, and review performance evaluations.
Ensure training requirements and development plans for RCU are met.
Support strategic plans and initiatives including fundraising and partnerships.
Oversee risk measures and incident/disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain records, reports, and communications with ministries and agencies.
Coordinate with HQ departments for administrative and operational needs.
