Job summary

BRK INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a site-based professional to supervise daily tunnel construction activities in Singapore, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and authority requirements.

You will monitor excavation, support systems, waterproofing, drainage, and M&E interfaces; inspect materials; witness inspections and testing; and coordinate with Resident Engineer, consultants, contractors, and surveyors to maintain schedule and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily tunnel construction activities.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and authority requirements.
• Monitor tunnel excavation, tunnelling, temporary and permanent support systems.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete, waterproofing, drainage, and structural works.
• Check tunnel alignment, levels, dimensions, and construction tolerances.
• Inspect materials and ensure only approved materials are used.
• Witness required inspections, testing, concrete sampling, and quality-control activities.
• Identify defective or non-conforming works and ensure proper rectification.
• Monitor ground conditions, water ingress, tunnel stability, and support systems.
• Ensure safe working practices, proper access, ventilation, lighting, housekeeping, and emergency arrangements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, consultants, contractors, surveyors, and other site personnel.
• Monitor construction progress and report delays, technical issues, and site constraints.
• Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, photographs, test results, and other project documentation.
• Check and maintain records of approved drawings, material submissions, and construction documents.
• Monitor waterproofing, drainage, M&E interfaces, and other associated tunnel works.
• Assist with authority inspections and ensure statutory requirements are followed.
• Monitor correction and closure of defects, observations
