Job summary

Top Star Builder Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Resident Technical Officer (M&E) to supervise building projects in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with project specs, regulations and consultant instructions while maintaining quality and safety records.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant RTO experience, a Diploma/Degree in M&E and an IES/ACES-accredited RTC. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to coordinate with stakeholders on complex institutional works.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in M&E or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the capacity of RTO for supervision of building projects in Singapore.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate (M&E) accredited by IES / ACES.
• Knowledge and Experience in institutional projects.
• Conversant in statutory codes and requirements.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and drawings; ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor’s work.
• Ensure Builder executes work in accordance with Consultant’s instructions.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to consultant with possible solutions to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project.
• Document site inspection records, safety records and approved/as-built drawings.
• Maintain and update site records on progress, housekeeping and prepare reports.

Job description

• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site.
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
