Job summary

KINGSFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is recruiting for an Environment-related role in Singapore. The incumbent will assist the Resident Engineer with daily supervision of Building Services mechanical and electrical works, inspect contractor activities, and ensure all tests align with approved drawings and specifications.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of QA inspection experience on large infrastructure projects in Singapore, with BS exposure. BIM familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered as an RTO with IES/ACES, eligible for supervision duties on building services projects.
• Minimum 5 years of QA inspection experience on large infrastructure, solid waste, or water projects in Singapore.
• Experience with Building Services (BS) systems and familiarity with BIM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination on BS mechanical and electrical works.
• Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications.
• Maintain quality records, monitor progress and report on work status.
• Implement quality assurance inspections and testing consistently across works.
• Coordinate with Contractors on execution of works.

About our client:

Our client is an Environmental consultancy in Singapore.

About the role:

• Assist Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties on Building Services mechanical and electrical
• Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
• Implement quality assurance plan in a well-coordinated manner
• Coordinate with Contractors on execution of works

About you:

Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure projects, solid waste management, or water infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Candidate will primarily handle Building Services (BS) works, covering both mechanical and electrical aspects; therefore, must be well-versed in BS trades.

Areas of supervision may include: sanitary and plumbing, fire fighting, ACMV, electrical distribution, power generation, lighting design, security systems, EVC system, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, IBMS, etc.

Familiarity with BIM software is an advantage.
