Job summary

Qingjian Realty seeks a qualified Resident Technical Officer to supervise civil and architectural works on high-rise residential projects. You will review drawings, ensure compliance with Building Control Act and Regulations, and report to the Senior Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities include site safety, quality control, and coordinating with project consultants, attending meetings, and overseeing M&E testing prior to TOP, culminating in owner handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NCCS in Civil Engineering discipline.
• Registered as Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES.
• Possess 3 years of RTO experience in supervision of Building works (piling, structural and architectural works).
• Experience in high-rise residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project.
• Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, sketches and site instructions by supervising qualified persons and project consultants.
• Ensure contractors carry out their work in compliance with Building Control Act and Regulations, Codes of Practices and requirements of building authorities and government agencies.
• Observe and comply with site safety, and submit all reports as directed and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
• Supervision of all civil & structural engineering works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations.
• Report to Qualified Person (Supervision), Senior Resident Engineer and Resident Engineer.
• Attend meetings, workshops and presentations where required.
• Conduct all Architectural & M&E testing prior to TOP
• Inspect and conduct lockup inspection before handing over to owner
