Job summary

APEX28 Consultancy PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee on-site civil, structural and M&E works in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes and safety requirements, inspecting workmanship and monitoring progress against the project plan. Responsibilities include reviewing method statements and QA/QC plans, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and preparing daily and weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of RTO on-site experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, civil, structural and M&E works.
• Registered resident technical officer with IES/ACES.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installations comply with local codes and standards.
• Inspect and monitor workmanship quality on site.
• Check drawings and contract specifications.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and ITP procedures.
• Review QA/QC plan and related documents.
• Follow approved drawings and carry out inspections.
• Review and follow design documents approved by QP/PE.
• Review project schedule weekly for construction and inspection activities.
• Attend internal meetings with engineers, teams and contractors.
• Follow up to monitor daily project schedule.
• Prepare and review daily and weekly reports.

Resposibilities

• Ensure that all installations are in accordance with local Codes, Regulations and Standards
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship of the works on site
• Check all drawings and contract specifications
• Review Method Statement & Risk Assessment Document & Inspection Test Plan procedure
• Review the Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) Plan and Procedure Documents
• Follow the approved engineering drawings /documents & carried out inspection.
• Review & follow QP/PE Design approved documents
• Review project overall schedule on weekly basis on construction and inspection activities
• Internal meeting with Eng., Team & contractor
• Follow-up & monitor daily project schedule
• Prepare and reviewing of daily & weekly report

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 Years of experience as RTO
• Have good knowledge and experience with Architectural, Civil & structural and M&E works.
• Registered resident technical officer with IES/ACES
