Job summary

Recruit Expert is seeking a seasoned Resident Technical Officer (Architecture) to supervise MRT and major infrastructure works in Singapore. You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure on-site works meet LTA requirements.

With at least 5 years of construction supervision experience and a Diploma in Architecture, you will maintain records, attend site meetings, and drive testing, completion and handover.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (Architecture).
• Diploma in Architecture; relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of construction supervision experience on MRT, railway, LTA, infrastructure or major building projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction, materials, finishes, drawings, specifications and site coordination.
• Good communication and coordination with Consultants, Contractors and LTA teams.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and material submissions for compliance with approved requirements.
• Supervise architectural works on site and inspect workmanship and materials per standards and designs.
• Coordinate with Consultant, Contractor, subcontractors to resolve interfaces, RFIs and site issues.
• Monitor progress, identify defects/delays, and follow up on rectification and completion activities.
• Maintain inspection records, provide progress updates, attend site meetings, support testing and handover.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and material submissions, ensuring site works are carried out in accordance with approved requirements.
• Supervise and inspect architectural works, workmanship and materials on site, ensuring compliance with LTA standards, contract specifications and approved designs.
• Coordinate with the Consultant, Contractor, subcontractors and other disciplines to resolve architectural interfaces, RFIs, technical queries and site issues.
• Monitor construction progress, identify defects, non-conforming works and delays, and follow up on rectification and completion activities.
• Maintain inspection and site records, provide regular progress updates, attend site meetings, and support testing, completion and handover of architectural works.

Requirements:

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (Architecture)
• Diploma in Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of construction supervision experience on MRT, railway, LTA, infrastructure or major building projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction, materials, finishes, drawings, specifications and site coordination, with familiarity with LTA requirements and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with Consultants, Contractors and LTA project teams.

Salary: $5,500 to $7,500
