Job summary

YEXEL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to assist in on-site supervision and inspection of construction works. You will monitor progress, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate holds a recognized Civil/Structural Diploma with IES/ACES RTC, plus 8+ years in steel and precast construction, and familiarity with local codes. Proficiency in Word, Excel and AutoCAD is preferred for documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for PE Board registration.
• IES/ACES accreditation with RTC is required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in construction, preferably steel and precast building construction.
• Familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• A good team player with experience assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction work on site
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards, ensure safety on site
• Maintain and update site records on project progress
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing material delivered to site
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements
