Job summary

SRNL Construction PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to monitor on-site activities, review drawings, and ensure works align with approved plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil/construction, holds RTO registration with BCA/IES/ACES, BCSS course, and demonstrates leadership and safety enforcement on site. Immediate vacancy and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's or professional degree.
• At least 5 years of related field experience.
• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES.
• BCSS certificate (Building Construction Supervisors Safety).
• Civil/Infrastructure background preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors' daily activity, site progress, schedule, and safety on site.
• Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer.
• Review and check all the drawings, and specifications, and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress, and non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.
• Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.
• Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works, and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified.
• To ensure all the construction works have complied with statutory requirements

Requirements

Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Shall have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course

Candidates with civil/infrastructure experience will be considered earlier.

Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills
