Responsibilities

• Check drawings, specifications and schedule of works; report discrepancies to consultant/contractor to avoid delays.
• Supervise and inspect all structural works to meet approved specs and drawings with approved materials in proper sequence and methods.
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing materials and workmanship on site.
• Coordinate architectural works with due skill, care and diligence per contract.
• Assist Resident Engineer in supervising and inspecting all structural works.
• Assist Construction Project Manager in tracking progress and updating site records and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and walks with clients and consultants.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, and other technical submissions and samples.
• Coordinate with consultants to resolve technical and interfacing issues.
• Familiar with consultant Quality Management System; document for QMS audits to comply with HDB audits.
• Liaise with contractor on schedule, progress, work quality and QC.
• Witness and verify field tests conducted on site.
• Monitor site instrumentation reports (settlement, vibration, noise).
• Update monthly progress reports and daily site activity reports.
• Enforce quality control, safety management and tidiness on site.
• Update monthly consultant safety and vector control reports.

Job description

• To Check all drawings, specifications and schedule of works as per the contract document and reporting the discrepancies to consultant and contractor in order to avoid progress delay.
• Full-time site supervision and inspections to ensure that all structural works are carried out as per approved specification and also as per drawings with approved material in an appropriate sequence and methods.
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site and quality of workmanship.
• Carry out supervision and co-ordination of architectural works of the project and shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in discharge of the contract.
• Assist RE in supervision and inspecting all structural works.
• Assist CPM in site progress and update proper site records about the progress of work and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with clients and consultants.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method of statement, other technical submissions, material samples and trade demonstration by the contractors.
• Assist and co-ordinate with consultants to resolve any technical and interfacing issues.
• Familiar in consultant Quality Management System and make proper documentation for QMS audit to comply HDB audit.
• Liaise with contractor on work schedule, progress, work quality and quality control etc.,
• Witness and verify any field test carried out on site.
• Monitoring Site Instrumentation report (Settlement marker, Vibration report, Noisemeter).
• Update Monthly progress report and daily site activities report.
• Enforce quality control, Safety management, Vector control and tidiness of the work site.
• Update monthly Consultant Safety and Vector report.
