Job summary

MRM BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a full-time site supervisor to oversee construction works in accordance with contract documents and approved drawings.

You will coordinate architectural and structural tasks, inspect materials, liaise with consultants and contractors, and ensure timely submissions and quality control. This role requires active site supervision, reporting, and participation in site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Inspect architectural finishing materials and workmanship.
• Coordinate architectural and structural works with proper sequencing.
• Assist Resident Engineer and Construction Project Manager on site.
• Maintain site records, progress updates, and documentation.
• Attend client and consultant site meetings.
• Submit shop drawings, method statements, and material samples on time.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and tidiness on site.
• Prepare and update monthly safety and progress reports.

Job description

To Check all drawings, specifications and schedule of works as per the contract document and reporting the discrepancies to consultant and contractor in order to avoid progress delay.

• Full-time site supervision and inspections to ensure that all structural works are carried out as per approved specification and also as per drawings with approved material in an appropriate sequence and methods.
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site and quality of workmanship.
• Carry out supervision and co-ordination of architectural works of the project and shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in discharge of the contract.
• Assist RE in supervision and inspecting all structural works.
• Assist CPM in site progress and update proper site records about the progress of work and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with clients and consultants.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method of statement, other technical submissions, material samples and trade demonstration by the contractors.
• Assist and co-ordinate with consultants to resolve any technical and interfacing issues.
• Familiar in consultant Quality Management System and make proper documentation for QMS audit to comply HDB audit.
• Liaise with contractor on work schedule, progress, work quality and quality control etc.,
• Witness and verify any field test carried out on site.
• Monitoring Site Instrumentation report (Settlement marker, Vibration report, Noisemeter).
• Update Monthly progress report and daily site activities report.
• Enforce quality control, Safety management, Vector control and tidiness of the work site.
• Update monthly Consultant Safety and Vector report.
