Job summary

HRNET Ventures invites an experienced Resident Engineer to join our construction team in Singapore. You will provide engineering support throughout project execution, ensuring works meet technical, quality and safety standards, and liaise with project teams, consultants and contractors.

The role offers exposure to large-scale projects and requires a valid Resident Engineer certificate in Singapore, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong on-site coordination and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certificate in Singapore is mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Good knowledge of building regulations, safety requirements and construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination and site management skills.
• Able to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings and Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Provide technical support to Superintending Officer / Professional Engineer as required.
• Review contractors' temporary works to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor contractors' work procedures against approved method statements and WS H requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
