Job summary

Engineers 9000 Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to lead site supervision for industrial and infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with approved requirements and coordinate with EPC teams.

You will review drawings, method statements and technical documents, lead site staff, monitor safety and progress, and report key risks to the project team. Strong English and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Building Engineering or related discipline.
IES/ACES accreditation as RE with valid practicing certificate.
At least 3 years of relevant site-supervision experience after degree.
Experience in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power, industrial process plant, port, marine, reclamation or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Singapore construction standards, government permitting and authority requirements.
Strong leadership, coordination and written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Assist the QP in supervising construction works and ensuring compliance with approved requirements.
Lead and coordinate RTOs and site staff, including inspections, reporting and follow-up actions.
Review drawings, method statements, material submissions and technical documents within the assigned scope.
Resolve technical, quality and coordination issues with EPC contractors and the project team.
Monitor progress, safety, testing, defects and non-conformance matters and report key risks promptly.
Coordinate meetings, authority inspections, completion and handover activities.
