Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to provide engineering support through project execution on on-site construction projects. You will ensure works meet technical, quality, and safety standards while collaborating with project teams, consultants and contractors to advance large-scale initiatives.

The role offers exposure to a range of construction activities and opportunities to further develop engineering expertise within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• RE certificate in Singapore mandatory.
• 3–5 years of construction experience.
• Knowledge of building regulations and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and on-site coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings and applicable Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Provide technical support to the Superintending Officer / Professional Engineer as required.
• Review contractors’ temporary works to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor contractors’ work procedures against method statements and Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
