Job summary

GLOBAL ROAD MACHINERY & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. invites a qualified Surveyor to join our civil construction team in Singapore. You will prepare setting-out plans, perform site surveys, levelling, and checks to ensure alignment and dimensional accuracy.

You'll maintain control points, coordinate with the project team and contractors, and report any discrepancies while using Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in land surveying or related field.
• At least 5 years of surveying experience in civil construction.
• Experience with setting-out, levelling, and as-built surveys.
• Familiar with local surveying standards and practices.
• Proficient with Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS; reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey setting-out plans and documentation for construction works.
• Carry out site surveys, setting-out, levelling, alignment, and dimensional checks.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, grids, and references.
• Coordinate with Project Team, Site Engineers, Contractors on survey needs and progress.
• Conduct inspections to ensure position, alignment, levels, and tolerances.
• Verify works against drawings and highlight discrepancies.
• Provide accurate survey information to site teams for proper execution.
• Liaise with Client, Consultants, Contractors on surveying matters.
• Report survey discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate survey instruments and data records.
