Job summary

Advanced & Best Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Civil/Structural site supervisor in Singapore to work under the Qualified Person and oversee all civil and structural works on site. You will liaise with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor and assist the QP on drawings and inspections.

You will monitor progress, ensure compliance with contract drawings, specs, and Building Control Act, and manage a site team to deliver quality workmanship on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• IES registration is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of site supervision experience.
• Min 2 years of infrastructure supervision experience.
• Familiar with local legislation, regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of QP and supervise site activities.
• Liaise with Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor for inspections.
• Assist QP on all structural works per approved drawings.
• Monitor progress and conduct structural inspections per drawings.
• Check and monitor structural/architectural works against contract documents.
• Provide standing supervision for civil/structural works on site and manage the site team.
• Oversee project construction, maintain records, attend meetings, and coordinate with consultants and external parties.

Job description

• Work under the direction of the appropriate Qualified Person when carry out their supervision and fully responsible to the appropriate QP.


• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.


• To assist QP on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings


• To monitor the progress and assist QP on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.


• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements


• To provide wherever and when ever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.


• To be overall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s)in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of their work and performance.


• To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meeting sand discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements

• Re registration with IES is mandatory


• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering


• Have at least 4 years of experience in site supervision of works


• Min2 years of experience in infrastructure supervision.


• Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes


• Possess good co-ordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
