Job summary

AB CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor with a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering to supervise civil and structural works on the project in Singapore.

You will liaise with Main Contractor's Engineer/Supervisor and assist the QP on inspections. Requirements include IES re-registration, at least 4 years of site supervision experience, 2 years in infrastructure supervision, familiarity with local regulations, and strong coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Reregistration with IES is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years of site supervision experience; 2 years in infrastructure supervision.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and conduct inspections with the Main Contractor’s Engineer/Supervisor.
• Assist QP on all structural works per approved drawings.
• Monitor progress and assist QP on structural inspections.
• Check and monitor Structural and Architectural works per contract drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Provide standing supervision for civil and structural works on site.
• Be in charge of managing site staff or Resident Technical Officers.
• Oversee construction, keep records, attend meetings, and coordinate with consultants and external parties.

Job description

Work under the direction of the appropriate Qualified Person when carry out their supervision and fully responsible to the appropriate QP.

• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• To assist QPon all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To monitor the progress and assist QP on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.
• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To beoverall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staff orResident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of their work and performance.
• To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:
