Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Site Supervisor/Resident Engineer to lead a team on site in Singapore, ensuring that all works comply with regulatory and client requirements. The role involves coordinating with engineers, authorities and contractors to plan, design and supervise, and to promptly resolve site issues for timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree from a recognized University and be a registered Resident Engineer with IES.
• Minimum 5 years of C&S experience with strong knowledge of precast structures, structural steel and local construction practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint; AutoCAD and BIM knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure all works comply with regulatory and client requirements.
• Collaborate with SO Rep Assistant, Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership to solve site problems and ensure timely completion.
• Implement and sustain the site supervision quality and safety assurance system.
• Supervise structural and geotechnical works, identify non-conformities in contractor’s works on site.
• Understand drawings and contract documents for carrying out works.
• Carry out regular site checks to ensure health and safety compliance in accordance with MOM regulations.
• Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and client to resolve site and technical issues.
• Maintain proper site documentation for ongoing works, meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as-built submissions, etc.

• Work closely with SO Rep Assistant, Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.


• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.


• Carry out supervision of structural & geotechnical works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.


• Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works.

Requirements
