Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineer with 3–5 years of design and site experience to plan, design and supervise large-scale civil and infrastructure projects. You will work on structural and geotechnical design, and coordinate with stakeholders.

The role requires familiarity with Eurocodes, experience with design software (STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, Plaxis, GeoStudio, TEDDS), and ability to manage submissions and project progress. BIM exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering recognized by PEB.
• 3–5 years design and site working experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with Eurocodes for structural & geotechnical design.
• Experience with authorities submission requirements and project management for civil/infrastructure projects.
• BIM experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, supervise and coordinate for civil engineering, infrastructural and site works for local projects. Civil & Structural and Geotechnical design, analysis and assessment. Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standard, Regulations and Codes of Practices. Manage & liaise with project Stakeholders, Clients, Contractors, site teams, other teams/Consultants, relevant Authorities and relevant parties. Asist Team Leader in maintaining high quality standards of design and supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor of Civil Engineering or its equivalent recognized by PEB. At least 3 to 5 years design and site working experiences in civil and infrastructure engineering projects. Familiar with structural & geotechnical design in Eurocodes. Well versed in structural & geotechnical design software, e.g. STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, Plaxis, GeoStudio, TEDDS & etc. Familiar with Authorities submission requirements and project management for civil/ infrastructure engineering projects. Good in site management and contact requirements as consultant. Familiar with local civil / infrastructure engineering projects and BIM will be in advantage.
