Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Site Supervision RTO professional in Singapore. You will implement and sustain the site supervision quality & safety assurance system across civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with authorities and client requirements.

You will coordinate with the Consultant’s PM/SOR, supervise contractor works, review progress and claims, and support handover with engineers and regulators to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certificate from IES, Singapore.
• Min. 3–5 years’ site experience as RTO in Singapore civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
• Carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety regulations.
• Ensure proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings and as-built submissions.
• Assist on site to ensure all works comply with regulatory and client requirements.
• Assist Consultant’s PM/ SOR to coordinate site activities, verify contractor’s works progress and claims.
• Work with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to plan, coordinate, supervise and handover projects.

• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed.
• Assist on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.
• Assist Consultant’s PM/ SOR to coordinate for the site activities, to verify the Contractor’s works progress and claims.
• Work closely with Professional Engineers, Regulatory Authorities and Contractors to provide planning, coordination, supervision and handover, not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in C&S Engineering with valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certificate from IES, Singapore.
• Min. 3 to 5 years’ site working experience as RTO in Singapore for Civil Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Authorities and Client requirements and regulation for construction.
