Job summary

TOP STAR BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to supervise site activities, review drawings, and ensure safety and compliance on construction projects. The role involves leading a team of Resident Technical Officers, coordinating meetings, and maintaining detailed records of works and tests.

Ideal candidates will be accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES/ACES and possess strong leadership and organizational skills to manage on-site supervision effectively.

Responsibilities

• Check that all necessary drawings and instructions have been given to contractors and authorizations obtained, in accordance with the agreed programme
• Manage a team of Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site supervision
• Check that all construction work is carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is kept secure
• Oversee all aspects of the project and keep record of works, materials, attend meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions etc.
• Keep a record of all measurements and tests and to bring plans into conformity with the work actually executed
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.
• Accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES/ACES
