Job summary

FIELD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to lead the site supervision team for civil, structural, and building construction works.

You will oversee inspections, coordinate with the design team, and support contract matters. You will liaise with clients and contractors, attend meetings, and drive issue resolution and progress discussions. A PE Board recognised Civil & Structural Engineering degree and IES registration are required, with strong leadership and

Qualifications

• Civil & Structural Engineering degree recognised by the PE Board Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years construction experience supervising civil/structural works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on site inspection issues and contract matters; supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to Contractor's RFIs and submittals; coordinate with discipline engineers and HQ design team.
• Attend site/project meetings and lead technical/work progress discussions with clients and contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all the Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to all Contractor's RFI's and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
• Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Requirements

• Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills.
