Job summary

DAEWOO-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE seeks a Resident Architect to oversee site activities on LTA projects. You will coordinate with RE and SRE, monitor all site activities, and report incidents including near misses while ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.

The role requires a Diploma holder with at least 8 years of architectural experience and 5 years in construction supervision for large-scale projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience with recognized Diploma in relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity in local context.
• Willing to work on rotation shifts.
• Must be capable of being a Team Leader and take responsibility in managing projects independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• supervise site activities and monitor incidents, including near misses, reporting non-compliance to RE and QPS.
• Assist Engineer in supervision for works including replacement/extension/reconfiguration of viaduct/bridge works and related civil works.
• Oversee design development and detailing in line with Singapore regulations and codes.
• Ensure adherence to plans, drawings, risk assessments and specifications.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and ensure contractor safety requirements are followed.

Job Description:

• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience with recognized Diploma in relevant field, and at least 5 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity in local context.
• Work as Resident Architecture to our LTA projects, to assist and report to RE and SRE to monitor all site activities, and any incident, including near misses. Report any non-compliance to RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
• Assist Engineer in carrying out supervision for related works include but not limited to replacement and extension, construction and reconfiguration of viaduct/bridge works, and associated civil works, proposed new flexible pavement and infrastructure, re-alignment of roadways, fencing and construction.
• Good knowledge and well versed in Singapore building regulations and codes, design development & detailing.
• Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance to all plans/drawings, risk assessment and specifications.
• Willing to work on rotation shifts.
• Ensure compliance to all health and safety policies.
• Ensure that contractor and their subcontractor comply with client's safety requirement, and safety checklists are follow.
• Must be capable of being a Team Leader and take responsibility in managing projects independently without supervision.
• Assist RE to manage and maintain records and documentation on field or site changes and to monitor adherence to construction schedule.
• The Resident Architecture shall be dedicated full time on Site, not less than 6 months before BSC until CWW is obtained.
• Carryout standing supervision for critical site activities based.
